Iced Gingerbread Latte: A Festive Treat for All Seasons

Equipment

  • 1 Espresso machine or coffee maker
  • 1 glass
  • 1 Milk frother or blender of whisk
  • 1 spoon
  • 1 Set of measuring cups (optional)

Ingredients
  

  • 1-2 shots espresso or 1/2 cup strong coffee
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1-2 tsp gingerbread syrup
  • ½ cup ice cubes
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract (optional)
  • ¼ tsp chocolate powder or ground cinnamon or nutmeg (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Brew 1-2 shots of espresso or make half a cup of strong coffee.
  • Leave the coffee to cool for at least 10 minutes
  • Add the gingerbread syrup to the coffee and stir to combine
  • 1/2 fill a glass with ice cubes.
  • Pour the coffee over the ice cubes
  • Add vanilla extract to the milk (optional)
  • Froth the cold milk
  • Gently pour the milk over the coffee, holding back some foam to layer on top
  • Sprinkle chocolate powder or ground cinnamon or nutmeg over the foam
  • Stir gently to combine the flavors
  • Enjoy!

  • Adjust the amount of gingerbread syrup according to your preference for sweetness.
  • Feel free to experiment with different types of milk like almond, oat, or soy for varying flavors and textures. I am currently loving rich and creamy soy milk.
  • For a festive touch, garnish your latte with a sprinkle of cinnamon or nutmeg.
