11 Delicious oat milk latte recipes: you’ll love them!

Rich in flavor and with a silky texture, oat milk lattes have become a healthy and popular alternative to dairy-based drinks. So let’s explore my favorite 11 oat milk latte recipes so that you can make them right in your own kitchen.

1. Regular oat milk latte

    The original and one of my all-time favorites, oat milk latte is a delicious and creamy coffee. Making an oat milk latte is super easy with just two ingredients – espresso and oat milk. While you brew a shot (or two) of espresso, prepare the oat milk. For more details check out my super simple oat milk latte recipe.

    2. Vanilla

    It’s surprising, but just adding vanilla extract adds so much to a simple cup of joe. For me, it’s one of those must-have ingredients that completely changes the experience.

    Like the first time you try a familiar meal, but cooked differently, a vanilla latte will change the way you think about your coffee.

    Simple version: Pour a shot of espresso into a mug or latte glass. Then add some vanilla syrup to the milk before you froth it. Once the milk is frothed, gently pour it over the coffee.

Then, just add either sugar or honey, and you’ll never want it to end!. Best of all, like all the lattes on this list, you can make it at home without any expensive equipment.

    Simple version: add strawberry flavored syrup to the mug before the coffee and stir into the coffee before adding the foamed milk.

    Luxury version: blend 3-4 fresh strawberries to a pulp and stir into the frothed milk. If you keep 1 strawberry back, you can put a slice on top of your creamy latte.

    Adding hazelnut syrup and a sprinkle of chocolate powder on top, lifts this latte to one of my favorites. It’s like drinking a creamy candy bar.

    Simple version: Add hazelnut flavored syrup to the mug before the espresso and stir into the coffee before adding the foamed milk.

    Luxury version: sprinkle some finely chopped hazelnuts and a dusting of chocolate powder, over the top of the foamed oat milk.

    11. Fancy an iced latte instead?

    Top Tip: all of these delicious oat milk latte recipes can be made as iced versions. Just follow these super simple step-by-step instructions:

    • Brew a shot of espresso with the coffee maker you have available. It’s not a problem if you don’t have an espresso machine, check out how to make espresso without a machine.
    • Alternatively, simply brew a 1/2 cup of strong coffee.
    • Make sure you have pre-chilled your oat milk. Remember – it’s best to use barista quality milk as these will froth when cold.
    • Froth the milk with the tools you have available
    • Half-fill the mug or glass with ice cubes
    • Pour the espresso shot over the ice cubes
    • Add 1 teaspoon of sugar to taste (optional) and stir
    • Slowly add the frothed oat milk
    • For some added luxury, pour some dairy-free cream over the top of the foamed milk then sprinkle with either some cinnamon or chocolate powder.
    • Serve and enjoy!
